A Quick overview
My short wedding package is perfect for anyone on a budget, or holding a small-scale or micro-wedding. It covers three hours of photography, giving us enough time to capture all the main moments, plus some wiggle room for a few candids.
We'll usually start out with an initial chat on zoom or in person, to see if I'm a good fit to be your wedding photographer. After that, we'll aim to have a pre-wedding photoshoot; this gives you the chance to work off any nerves about being on camera before your wedding day arrives!
On the day itself, I prefer to be unobtrusive - finding the best angles during the ceremony without blocking anyone's view, and capturing all the moments as they happen rather than ordering you to smile at me. We'll also usually come up with a schedule in advance, planning out a time to steal away and do some photos just of you, along with time for group photos, if you want any. Outside of that, I mostly stay out of the way and take candids of your guests while they don't realise they're on camera.
After your wedding you'll get a sneak peek at the photos within a couple of days, so that you have some to share with friends, family or on social media. I then aim to finish editing the full set of images within 4 weeks.
Do you ever cover Less than 3 hours?
Yes! For most small weddings I would recommend 3 hours to cover everything, but if you're having a really small wedding - for example, a short ceremony with just your witnesses - my rates start from £150 per hour.
Do you do group photographs?
Yes of course! While natural, unscripted moments are my speciality, I am always happy to take group photographs on request.
I usually recommend no more than 10 groups, as it can take a little while otherwise!
Will you travel to PHotograph our wedding?
Yes, I will happily travel anywhere within the UK. Both my packages cover travel within 20 miles of Bristol; for anywhere beyond that I usually ask that my travel costs are paid for (plus one night of accommodation if you're a very long way away!)
Do you have insurance?
Yes! :)
I am fully insured, including Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
